29th & 30th at Sea

For the next 2 days we were at sea ...so we took the time to relax and get to know the ship...The second night on board was a formal night, so its nice to see everyone dressed up in suit and tie and the ladies in evening wear...

Some examples of the beautiful food we were served

The waters are just so clear and blue

And every night we witnessed beautiful sunsets !!

After dinner you can sit out side and watch a movie in the open air theatre on a balmy night

28th November 2011 ...All Aboard !!!!

Woke up to a nice day and we were all packed up again ready to leave for breakfast and then board the ship at 12 noon

After all the formalities we boarded the ship and check out the cabins, we have cabins next to each other so we had the adjoining partion on the verandah opened so we could share a nice long verandah together.

The army and air force were putting on a nice display for us before we set sailed

We sailed at 4pm and it was a beautiful afternoon....we were up on the top deck sipping our sail a way cocktails and taking in all the sights has we sailed out through the harbour...

After we set sailed ..we headed down to the cabin to unpack for the next 2 weeks :) and then we had to get organised for the safety drill.....

Once that was over we had to get dressed for dinner.... we are on the first sitting so dinner is at 6pm

After dinner relaxing in the bar waiting for the activities to start for the evening

It was a wonderful day... and we have lots more to follow...

27th November 2011 Sydney

Well we are very excited to be going on this cruise and to make things even better we are travelling with my bestie Pat and her partner Glen.

We decided to travel to Sydney and stay at the Menzies over night so that we would be close to the ship to embark tomorrow.

After arriving at the Menzies, just after 2pm it was a really nice day so we went for a nice walk to the docks to get lunch.

After relaxing in the room for a while, we went for another walk to check out Martin Place and the Christmas tree, and a little window shopping. it was a beautiful warm night...

We checked out the Louis Vuitton store windows they had displays of animals made out of all their bags, very impressive

Then we moved on and had dinner at  PJ Gallaghers... a quaint Irish Pub... food was to die for !!!
